Is the information in this book new? No. I've read similar personality type books over the years. What makes this book different is the intent with which is was written. It was written to be an easy read, over a weekend. It is very well organized so that the reader can learn quickly. Jacob Adamo has also carefully considered his audience. He wants people to read this book and learn ways to further their business, primarily. I think it can be used in other ways as well, in many different relationships. I especially liked how he succinctly describes each color (personality type) in the appendix with "troublesome," "typical', and "true" shades. The one negative that I had: I purchased the book for my Kindle and the way to take the personality test for myself was a little difficult. I haven't quite figured out how to fold over a virtual page. I just took the test on a separate sheet of paper. All in all, a great and informative read. I just need to go over it again for a quick refresher. PS I'm a green. You can't close a green. I considered long and hard whether to spend the money on this book. I'm glad I did.Product details

Great book, excellent to help decode what makes others tick.. Eases relationships with people who think and act differently and his second book Full Spectrum Freedom is an excellent accompaniment and delves deeper in to solution and understanding.
Wonderful book on learning how to better serve, support and strengthen others by learning characteristics about yourself and others. Asset to any team oriented business or simply getting along with people in general in you're circle and new ones you meet.
After taking the online color test (search authors name, it is on his website), I was interested to learn more.
Think this information can help any team become better and plan to offer the book to my team and encourage my team to share their colors.
BTW Book will nor run on a true , works on the iPad app...
The book is ENTIRELY HELPFUL in dealing with people but also for understanding yourself better, which should be done first before trying to knowing how to "color" everyone else. Simple but pretty accurate, to me, more so than other personality tests I have tried. Take the test on the website and then get the book(s) to learn in more detail.

If you are looking for a quick, attention-keeping read on personality, this is the one. Using established differences on how people communicate, Jacob Adamo has created a valuable and practical plan for being understood no matter how you’re wired. He ties each piece together in a Master Key, creating a simple script to talk to people no matter what their color. Anyone who struggles with understanding or being understood in relationships can benefit from these truths!
This book is Amazing. I was a bit skeptical about the whole "color personality" theory, but once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. I The accuracy about each color personality description is mind blowing. Realizing the attributes of each personality and their "shades" opens up a whole new world of understanding in living and working with others. I now use this as part of our hiring process for employees and subcontractors by giving everyone the personality test. Using this as a business tool has helped me understand my team better and continue to build it in a much more informed way. I can't believe the difference it has made in our communication and business planning. Also, this book is just the right length, nothing like some scientific textbook, it is an easy read. I am a "blue" so it was great for me since my attention span is kind of short!
If you have never taken a color personality test, please buy a hard copy of the author’s books. The version does have major issues with formatting of the personality test in the Appendix. Jacob Adamo is a business professional that tackles the subject of personality in relationship to commerce, networking and team building. I found the book helpful, in regards to structuring presentations to audiences. Bookworms can finish this book in a night if giving a presentation in the morning. I would have preferred if Mr. Adamo had used the term “harmony” instead of “fun” to describe the outlook and motivation of the Blues. Mr. Adamo has slightly different descriptions of the colors than authors Mary Miscisin and Carol Ritberger who come from a humanist background.
